The Lindens have flowers and are insect and wind pollinated. Usually the amount of pollen released in the air is not very high. The Linden and Basswood are not considered an important allergen. They are found mostly east from Eastern Manitoba to western New Brunswick. The pollen season occurs generally from June to July.
